Hi! My name is Jen.

I’m an intellectual property attorney, crazy cat lady, Swiftie, bar trivia enthusiast, dog mom, and now, writer.

For a long time, I wanted to write, but didn’t have the opportunity, time, or venue. But now, for the first time in my life, I have all of those things. So, welcome to my intellectual property blog, where I mull over the convergence of intellectual property and science, art, and pop culture.

I am licensed attorney based in Chicago, IL. I primarily practice anti-counterfeiting litigation, trademark litigation, and patent prosecution.

Please meet our staff

The heart and soul of this company, Miss Kitty’s leadership, grit, and dedication has taken the Curious Cat IP Blog to unforeseen levels. She is also the record-holder for most consecutive Employee of the Month wins (37!).

Miss Kitty, Director of Operations

Atlas, Assistant to the Manager

Atlas has been a loyal employee for many years. His work is on time, albeit usually grossly incorrect. In his free time, he likes to play in garbage. Like most orange cats, he is just trying his best.

Darko, Intern

Darko is struggling mightily to adapt to the feline-dominant work culture of the Curious Cat IP Blog. Nonetheless, he is a very good boy.
